Kristen & Kyle invited me back to their turf in Florida, after eloping in Colorado with me and doing their engagement photos together over the summer! I met them back home for their Fort Lauderdale Wedding at Wine Garden, right off the Fort Lauderdale beach, for their reception months later to finally celebrate with friends and family and it was so fucking fun!

We had split their wedding photography coverage into two days, half for their elopement, and the other half for their reception in Florida. Their Fort Lauderdale Wedding venue was Wine Garden, a locally owned restaurant with an open patio, and entire back yard space and guest house for rent (which they used for their reception). It basically included a pool and the reception room, plus a full exposed dining area in the back, and it was perfect for their nontraditional reception!

We started their day getting ready at the hotel directly across from Wine Garden, which was The Atlantic right off the beach, and then literally walked over to their reception venue. The venue owner even owned a classic car, and let us take it around for a bit for their portraits for sunset!

Their Fort Lauderdale wedding included their closest family and friends, and they chose Wine Garden as their wedding venue because it was already decorated and set up, so it really was an easy choice without having to do too much DIY overall for their event. I’m just sad we’re done celebrating them, and that they’re not throwing another party at this point!!!
