Why a Super 8 Wedding Film? Because it’s fucking fun. For folks that cringe at a traditional wedding video, because twirling around in slow motion gives you an immediate ick. Super 8 films bring a heart-racing wistfulness captured in home video style nostalgia you'll feel forever. Everyone's doing it... but are they doing it well?
Films are an extension of documentation, offering moments that otherwise cannot be captured in a still image alone. And I'll be honest: this style of video isn't for everyone. It's messy, raw and edgy, and full of silly goose energy (the best kind), and it doesn’t replace the cinematics of a more traditional wedding video (if traditional is your jam, but it isn’t mine), but this style of video has all the feeling along with the imperfections of the film medium.
The films are shot by hand on real vintage cameras and film stock, and carefully woven into your wedding or elopement day, edited to a music track, with additional options for longer coverage, and ambient audio recording (including full ceremony and toasts). Choose to book only Super 8 videography, or you may bundle with photography at a super rad discounted rate.
