Mountain Crust Event Venue Garden Party Wedding

One of my favorite Denver wedding venues of all time: Mountain Crust Event Venue

I’ll be direct–mostly, this is because of the team and the laid back atmosphere they offer. It’s a huge plus, if you’re a couple looking for a relaxed, no-rules wedding venue (different from most Denver wedding venues, in that receptions can go past 10pm and they’re pretty lax as long as you run everything past them). For the couples wanting an outdoor garden party style wedding, like Carly and Alex, this venue is really at the top of my list for recommendations. I’ve worked with Mountain Crust in a catering capacity more times than I can even count at this point, and they bring top-notch customer service to every event, they’re serving late-night pizza out on your dance floors with dance moves included, the food is amazing, and they’ve brought all of this to their own Denver local wedding venue, and I am personally so thrilled to continue working here as much as possible!!!

One thing important to note about your reception at Mountain Crust Event Venue: there’s not a ton of space for group or formal portraits, if you want them. While this isn’t necessarily a downside (I actually almost always prefer going off-venue for portraits, anyways), it is something that you’ll want to make plenty of time for in your timeline as well as check in with your planner and photographer about beforehand. This group stopped at Fly’n B park on their way over to the reception venue, but there’s plenty of local parks in and around this area to use, and all of the portraits you see below were taken at this park in a 20 foot radius of a shaded tree (a reason to really book with a photographer you trust).

More info on Mountain Crust Event Venue Weddings:

  • Capacity: 150 (although from experience, I would highly suggest checking with your planner for a back-up weather plan–while they do have an indoor space, it’s pretty tight for a lot of people, and depending on your table setup, you may need to make different arrangements)
  • Spaces: two bars, a rooftop deck, a two-floor indoor space, outdoor ceremony lawn and dinner availability
  • All inclusive venue + catering (a steal of a deal, honestly!!!!)
