Kait and Ori had a rainbow, 70s disco cowboy themed wedding at Guyton Ranch, in Jefferson, Colorado, and it was probably one of the most fun weddings I’ve ever attended. They put a ton of intentional details into planning, including a high priority on analog film documentation, which is why they hired me for my hybrid digital and film documentary style and a true super 8 film.
Beyond their wicked fun rainbow theme, they added the cutest little details throughout planning! They started with a real tattoo artist onsite and designed the flash sheet themselves, they also put paper tops on all the tables and crayons so that guests could make little drawings during dinner, they did a 10pm cake cutting so that it could be private and fun, just for them, they added a disco ball adult pinata, and one of their very best friends even made a custom song for them and sang it!
I love Guyton Ranch weddings because of how intentional the venue allows for planning. For a weekend event, there’s so much hangout space and areas for everyone to spread out. It also allows for a DIY wonderland, considering the amazing streamers that Kait’s family put together all over their reception space! It also holds up to 300 people, and offers absolutely panoramic views for the ceremony space and portraits, for tons of flexibility and photos. In Jefferson, it’s also located so close to the best mountain towns and activities that this area has to offer, creating a well-rounded venue for basically anything your heart desires!
