Zoey and Rafal’s intimate wedding at Ginger and Baker in Fort Collins was one of my favorites of the summer 2022 season. Ginger and Baker is one of the most perfect wedding venues in the area, and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to feature this gorgeous Colorado wedding venue while also shining a spotlight on Zoey and Rafal’s special day. 

As a wedding and elopement photographer in the Fort Collins/Denver area, here’s why this venue is at the top of my list. 

The Venue Spaces

There are 4 unique spaces that are part of the Ginger and Baker venue that are important to highlight. Each one offers something slightly different!

Mill Top at Ginger and Baker

Mill Top is a second story loft space with historic pulley systems, catwalks, and grain bins. The old brick walls and hand-carved beams have been restored to make this a cozy but still spacious area for your wedding. 

This spot opens onto the glass-enclosed rooftop (The Cache Patio), which you can add to your event or book on its own.

The Cache Patio at Ginger and Baker

The rooftop patio is an incredible place to spend the sunset, eating or dancing or just watching the colors dance across the sky! Summer or winter are equally gorgeous in this space, since it’s protected but feels exposed to the air. 

And, you can actually open up the windows to completely let all that fresh air and light in! This is perfect on a day with gorgeous weather.

Wine Cellar at Ginger and Baker

Old stone walls, big ceiling beams, massive chandeliers…there’s nothing more romantic! I love the Wine Cellar option at Ginger and Baker as a space for a winter wedding, since it’s cozy and warm. This space is smaller, so it’s great for a more intimate celebration.

  • Best for a rehearsal dinner if you have a larger guest list

The Teaching Kitchen at Ginger and Baker

This is the 4th specific venue space inside Ginger and Baker, and it isn’t one where you can have your ceremony or reception, but it is a fun addition I wanted to include since it could be a fun activity for just you and your partner, or your wedding party/family. 

The Teaching Kitchen can be booked for a private cooking or baking class, or just booked as a more private meeting space if you’d like to gather here with your loved ones. Classes have space for up to 16 people. 

Rafal & Zoey

For Rafal and Zoey’s wedding, both the Wine Cellar and the Cache Patio were utilized. Rafal’s parents gave the couple a traditional Polish blessing in the cellar, before heading upstairs for a gorgeous rooftop ceremony lit by the sun on the patio. A sunset ceremony under a gorgeous glass ceiling is seriously unmatched!! I could not recommend this more. 

Ginger and Baker: Centrally Located

Another huge bonus to this venue here in Fort Collins is that it is right downtown. If you’re already local to the area, this is perfect for your wedding if you aren’t looking for a big drive or to travel. If you are from out of town or out of state, a downtown venue gives you the opportunity to explore Fort Collins, shop, etc. 

And I know what you’re thinking: won’t it feel crowded or be a hassle to get there if it’s downtown? Not at all! Ginger and Baker offers free parking for you and your guests when you get married here, so you’ll have no trouble getting there and feeling comfortable on-site. 

Let’s Talk About Food

The catering at Ginger and Baker is exquisite! Since this is their specialty, this venue is perfect for those who want to prioritize a great menu! Year-round, Ginger and Baker has event menus that are so delicious. They can even create custom menu options for you, as well as custom cocktail options and a big wine list! 

Sharing an incredible meal with everyone you love can be an important part of celebrating, and this is a great place to do that. Plus, it cuts down on your planning stress too. No worrying about bringing in an outside vendor for food!

What Else is Included?

Every venue offers their own unique amenities for events like weddings. It can get overwhelming sifting through what’s available to you. Here’s a quick and easy list of what you get at Ginger and Baker:

As a photographer who has worked with this venue before, I can say that they are a true delight and joy. The celebrations they help create are really amazing! I know it sounds like I’m getting paid to say all this, but I really just love Ginger and Baker that much!
