Angelica and Phi’s elopement was a true winter wonderland affair. They hiked through the snow to reach their secluded ceremony location, where their Colorado elopement photographer (hi, me :)) was waiting to capture every moment. It was beautiful out; I think there’s a stigma that winter in the mountains will be epically cold (and granted, this can happen, but with 300 days of sunshine, it’s likely to go the other way!), but winter in Colorado is actually one of the best times to elope here!
The ceremony was simple yet elegant, with just the couple on top of the mountain. The snowflakes fell softly around them as they exchanged their heartfelt vows, creating a magical and romantic atmosphere in the glowing sun.
After the ceremony, the couple celebrated with hot cocoa and cake to hide from the cold a bit until the sun went down, and then we headed back out for sunset portraits before parting ways.
Angelica and Phi’s Breckenridge, Colorado snowy elopement was a beautiful celebration of their love, and I felt just fucking honored to be their Colorado elopement photographer… capturing these love stories really is the highlight of my life.
