Gosh, I am still gushing over Jordan + Matthew’s day! They booked me on September 28th for a December 2nd wedding date for their Sapphire Point Colorado Elopement, and I specifically remember Jordan asking “Are you sure we can plan this in two months?” You betcha.

We got straight to work in finalizing their timeline for their three-hour photography coverage. It was important to them that they received a gorgeous gallery they could share with their friends and family, but kept costs as affordable as possible. We did this by determining what was most important for their photography coverage, and planned their timeline around these events to maximize coverage in these areas. This is a great option to stay on the more affordable side; just remember that this also means leaving out other key elements of the day (getting ready, intimate moments in getting into the dress, and opportunities for adventure / leisure time / and multiple photo locations).

They married on a beautiful, 40-degree December day, overlooking the mountain-tops at Sapphire Point Overlook, in Dillon, Colorado, and it was just absolutely stunning.

But keep in mind–Jordan and Matt got lucky! If you are determined to have a private wedding ceremony, this wouldn’t be my first location suggestion for you; Sapphire Point Overlook is known to be incredibly popular, year around, even on weekdays, and usually includes passer-bys that walk past to watch (and sometimes even awkwardly sit down…). It’s worth mentioning that there’s lot of private locations, and if this is a priority for you, I highly suggest reaching out with this as strictly inspiration, so we can find a better, more private location for you!
