Jess & Chris traveled all the way from Chicago for their Colorado elopement adventure in Rocky Mountain National Park. Avid beer drinkers, family-focused, and loving fur parents, they were so much fun to be around and we had an absolutely rad time together.
Our journey together started with me heading home to Chicago to shoot their engagement photos, and then turning around the same day to shooting Jess’s boudoir photos as a gift to Chris. Three months later, they were headed to my turf and landed a peaceful air bnb in Silverplume, right outside of Summit County’s best ski resorts.
Their day started with rainy weather, and continued throughout the day for a true monsoon-season Colorado elopement. We ventured right outside of Ward for their ceremony, and then into Rocky Mountain National Park for their wedding portraits and family photos. It was an adventure for the books.
You know that feeling when a chapter of your life ends, and you’re filled with happiness for what it was, and sadness that it’s over? That’s how I feel about Jess & Chris. I get to know my couples so well over the time that we work together, and I am truly going to miss them so much – their family & fur family included!
