Almost everything that could have gone wrong, went wrong on this Crested Butte elopement day, but it was also one of the most fun, go with the flow days I’ve experienced lately.
It’s hard to believe from these photos, but Annarose & Sean only booked four hours of coverage for their Crested Butte elopement day. They were the type of couple that didn’t want to wake up early, didn’t want a ton of events for the day, and just wanted to explore some beautiful views. When we woke up, it was absolutely pouring. It was raining so much, that many of the trails we had planned to navigate were too dangerous to try, and heading into some of these places would have been immensely difficult in their two wheel drive car. Luckily, they hired a Colorado elopement photographer that had backup plans for days (hi, it’s me), and we had an absolutely amazing day together.
